Thanksgiving Food Photos

The Turkey, Gravy, and Gluten-Free Stuffing (GF stuffing was disappointing, but OK with lots of gravy).


Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Crispy Shallots (that were not crispy). The "Cranberries" again. And the Salad - the Best!

I'm a humble home cook, living near St. Paul, Minnesota. I recently moved here from Portland, Oregon, and well, I'm still adjusting...

I like to write about food, drink, my successes and failures in the kitchen, and sometimes local restaurants. I like to take pictures of the food I eat too, mainly for this blog. I love to prepare and taste new things, and most weeks I try out a couple new recipes. Since I'm a busy mom, however, I tend to keep it fairly simple.

Because of my personal preferences and diet requirements, some of the recipes I share are vegetarian, and some are gluten-free. But this blog is not necessarily about healthy eating. That's important, but for me, it's secondary to taking pleasure in great food.
